We hope you can join us (and bring a friend) at the congregation every Thursday at 1:00 pm. For the fall, I will be leading a study that I am calling, “Keys to a Balanced Messianic Life.”

We are pulled many directions in our walk with the Lord. This is especially true in Messianic congregations. It seems that every issue that other congregations face, Messianic believers and their congregations also face, only more so. In addition to presenting the Gospel in a way relevant to Jewish people, we face challenges unique to Messianic congregations, such as Replacement Theology, Dual Covenant Theology, misunderstanding of the role of the Law of Moses in believers’ lives, the role of rabbinic tradition in believers’ lives, the place of Gentiles in Messianic congregations, etc.

How do we sort through the morass of things and other challenges, and maintain a vibrancy, health and balance in our walk with Yeshua? While we will learn about these matters and much more, our goal remains Yeshua. As Shaul (Paul) said: “My aim is to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the sharing of His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death—if somehow I might arrive at the resurrection from among the dead. Not that I have already obtained this or been perfected, but I press on if only I might take hold of that for which Messiah Yeshua took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself as having taken hold of this. But this one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal for the reward of the upward calling of God in Messiah Yeshua. Therefore let all who are mature have this attitude.” (Philippians 3:10-15a)

We invite you to join us, weekly, on Thursdays from 1:00-3:00 p.m., as we help each other press forward to the things the Lord has ahead for each of us in Him. Best wishes and Shalom, Jonathan
